Employment Standards Act Ontario

  1. Every Worker must receive a copy of the Employment Standards in Ontario poster. It is mandatory. And it is FREE at this link: HERE

Working For Workers Act Updates

The "Working for Workers" acts in Ontario are a series of legislative packages designed to update and strengthen workplace laws, focusing on issues like safety, support for workers, and the workforce's overall wellbeing. They aim to create a more equitable and robust system for employees, covering a range of topics from occupational health and safety to leave entitlements.

Ontario Health & Safety Act

  1. Every Worker and Supervisor must complete the OHSA Awareness Training! And it is FREE at this link: HERE

  2. Every Worker, Supervisor and Manager (including the owner) must complete WHMIS Training specific to your workplace.

  3. Every Worker, Supervisor and Manager (including the owner) must complete Violence and Harassment Training specific to your workplace and its procedures.

Ontario Human Rights

All Employees must have training on the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act). This website provides free training for you and your team. This does not mean you do not have to train on your companies policies and procedures. Make sure you do both.
